Glow in the Dark Powder
Our photoluminescent pigments glows naturally in the dark and react to UV black lights.
Ultra Glow Powder: Choose from 15 unique colors with the longest and most vivid glow for a medium size particle of around 50 microns. It is made from the highest quality strontium aluminate doped with europium and dysprosium. Popular applications include making glow-in-the-dark paint and resin epoxies.
Standard Glow Powder: A low-cost option that should not be overlooked for quality. The primary colors are available in 35 and 85 microns. Popular applications include glow-in-the-dark nails, fishing jigs, or school projects.
Specialty Glow Powder: Fine, coarse, and rare pigments. Very fine 15-micron pigment for airbrushing. Extra large 100 to 500 microns with up to a 40-hour glow time. Perfect for coating anti-slip floors or finishing glasswork that requires a high-temperature resistance. Also available are rare calcium sulfide, yttrium oxide, and zinc sulfide pigments.

How to Use Glow-in-the-Dark Powder
Everything you need to know about mixing photoluminescent pigment for stunning results
Key Guidelines
Mixing Ratios
| Ratio | Proportion | Example |
|---|---|---|
| 20% | 1 : 5 | 1 oz powder to 5 fl oz clear medium |
| 25% Recommended | 1 : 4 | 1 oz powder to 4 fl oz clear medium |
| 33% | 1 : 3 | 30 g powder to 90 ml clear medium |
Application Methods
Resin & Epoxy
The 25% ratio works well. Pigment settles to the bottom, leaving a nice clear top that can be sanded and buffed. Most clear resins won't block light, enhancing the glow.
Heat & Dip Powder Paint
Mix 1 oz glow powder with 2 oz clear powder paint and shake thoroughly. Heat the jig, dip 2–3 times. For brighter results, first dip into a white powder coat base.
General Applications
Glow powder works with paint, polyurethane, glue, rubber, silicone, and more. Multiple layers produce brighter, more even results. Too low of a ratio can cause an uneven and spotty glow. Testing various ratios is recommended for commercial and manufacturing purposes.
